COURSE DESCRIPTION – GERMAN B1

The Philippine Language Institute is an Associate Member of ALTE (The Association of Language Testers in Europe) based in the United Kingdom, demonstrating its commitment to internationally recognized standards in language education and assessment.

Our German B1 Language Program is aligned with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and follows globally accepted benchmarks for intermediate-level proficiency. The program builds upon A2-level foundations and enables learners to communicate independently and effectively in a variety of everyday, professional, and academic contexts.

At the B1 level, learners develop the ability to understand the main points of clear standard speech on familiar topics such as work, education, travel, and current events. The program strengthens grammatical accuracy, expands functional vocabulary, and improves fluency in both spoken and written communication. Learners gain the confidence to express opinions, describe experiences, give reasons and explanations, and handle practical situations in German-speaking environments.

This is a self-paced program, allowing students to study anytime and anywhere at their convenience. Through structured lessons, guided practice, interactive activities, and performance-based assessments, learners enhance their competence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing in German.

Upon successful completion, students are prepared for internationally recognized B1 examinations and progression to B2 level German language training.
