COURSE DESCRIPTION – GERMAN B2

The Philippine Language Institute is an Associate Member of ALTE (The Association of Language Testers in Europe), based in the United Kingdom. This affiliation reflects our commitment to internationally recognized standards in language education and assessment.

Our German B2 Language Program is aligned with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and follows globally accepted benchmarks for upper-intermediate proficiency. Building on the foundations established at the B1 level, this program equips learners with the skills to communicate independently, confidently, and effectively in a wide range of everyday, academic, and professional contexts.

At the B2 level, learners develop the ability to understand extended speech and complex texts on both concrete and abstract topics, including discussions in their field of specialization. The program enhances grammatical accuracy, broadens academic and professional vocabulary, and strengthens fluency in spoken and written communication. Students learn to present clear, detailed explanations, express and defend opinions, analyze issues, and interact with a high degree of spontaneity and accuracy in German-speaking environments.

This self-paced program allows students to study anytime and anywhere according to their individual schedules. Through structured modules, guided practice, interactive activities, and performance-based assessments, learners systematically develop advanced skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing.

Upon successful completion, students are well prepared for internationally recognized B2 examinations and for progression to C-level German language training.
